Vapor Sampling for Monitoring Wells from 1 to 4 inches
Vapor Sampling Well Plugs are lockable monitoring well plugs incorporating a valve system to allow for the sampling of trapped head space gases. They are available in 1, 1.5 2, 3 and 4 inch (2.5, 3.8, 5.1, 7.6 and 10.2 cm) sizes to match the inside diameter of monitoring wells.
IMPORTANT – SOLD SEPARATELY – Port Adapter for Well Vapor Sampling connects to the top of the well plug and is required to retrieve well head space gas. To avoid cross contamination it is recommended to dedicate one per Well Plug.
All ecoPLUGs are PFAS FREE.

Description
We’ve modified the Lockable Well Plugs to produce Vapor Sampling Well Plugs. These specialized well plugs use a valve which allows you to extract a sample of the trapped headspace vapours. The well plugs are durable and tamper-proof to withstand repeated use (and abuse) over many years.
Pressure tested to 20 PSI, these well plugs prevent the loss of well gas to the atmosphere. The Vapor Sampling Port Adapter allows you to extract the sample without removing the plug from the well. The Adapter can be attached to a peristaltic pump in order to draw out even more of the trapped headspace gas.
IMPORTANT – You will need a Vapor Sampling Port Adapter to retrieve the well vapours. It is recommended to dedicate one per Well Plug to avoid any cross contamination issues. See Related Products below.
